The breakfast was VERY GOOD and we loved the restaurant where the food was served. The room was big size and well-equipped, plus the bed was very comfy. It was surely a very good stay for 2 nights.
The location was not the best, it's a pitty.

The hotel's elegant and traditional Japanese decor was absolutely charming. The beautiful flower arrangements and soothing color scheme made me feel like I was staying in a peaceful oasis. The general areas of the hotel were always immaculate, and the cleanliness made me feel comfortable and safe during my stay. As a senior woman, I also greatly appreciated the hotel's accessibility. There were ramps and handrails throughout the hotel, making it easy for me to navigate and ensuring that I felt secure.
If I could ask for one improvement for a better vacation for seniors, it would be to have more staff available to assist us. While the children working there were polite, I sometimes felt that they were a bit overwhelmed with their responsibilities.

This hotel is conveniently located next to a subway station, making it easy to access other areas of the city. the Nakasukawabata subway station is adjacent to the hotel, and it only takes less than 5 minutes to get to the JR Hakata station by metro. the staff are friendly, efficient, and speak Japanese fluently. Guests can enjoy various dining options, including a brewery in the basement and a food hall in a nearby mall. the rooms are comfortable and clean, with non-smoking options available.
Some guests have mentioned that the western breakfast buffet is served cold, which could be improved.

Located right in the heart of a huge shopping and entertainment complex, we had a blast exploring all the cool shops and trying out the latest trends. The party scene was on fleek, with clubs and bars just a hop, skip, and a jump away. It was like a teenage dream come true!
The only thing we wished for was a dedicated area in the hotel specifically for young party-goers, where we could turn up the volume and have our own mini rave. That would have taken our stay to the next level of epicness.

Pleasant Surprise!
During my recent stay at a hotel in Fukuoka, I had a truly pleasant surprise at Okura Hotel. The moment I arrived via the underground walkway, I was greeted by friendly staff who quickly assisted me with my bags and efficiently checked me in. The penthouse floor room was incredibly relaxing and impeccably clean, offering a serene escape from the bustling city. The lobby itself was stunning, and the staff went above and beyond to assist with any requests. The convenient location, with easy access to the Nakasu-Kawabata underground station, made exploring the city a breeze. Plus, the hotel shares a building with the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum, adding a touch of culture to my stay. I highly recommend Okura Hotel for its elegance, comfort, and perfect location.
